Summers Harvest Experience - Saturday, September 18, 2010
We have been busy planning our fun event this year and wanted to give you a tentative schedule of events organized thus far.
11AM to 1PM - Activities
List of Activities: – group of 30 guests to be separated into 3 groups of 10 people to experience three exciting experiences:
1. Foot Grape Stomp (45 minutes)– after years of being asked if this was possible we found a way to let you actually crush grapes with your feet (optional activity, but many have asked for it, so now is your chance!!)
2 .Wine Pairing with Snack Foods (40 minutes)
1PM – 3PM Lunch and Relaxation: Retire to the picnic area of Summers backyard area to enjoy the vistas, and enjoy a fun-filled Mexican Harvest fiesta and chat with Jim and Beth Summers, Ignacio Blancas, Winemaker, and other entertaining Tasting Room staff!!
After lunch, join in the Bocce Ball competition: we will split up into teams, and the winning team gets a Magnum (or two) of some luscious Summers Wine!!
Dress: Casual, shorts or capris if you want to grape stomp, and sandals.
