| | LAW Mar 10, 2010 | Estate Charbono - We went to Napa for our 20th wedding anniversary and were directed to Summers by Chateau de Vie. By far our favorite tasting experience...unpretentious and friendly. Loved many of the wines but adore the Charbono and keep ordering more. |
| | LissaR Jul 24, 2009 | Merlot - Knights Valley Reserve - I routinely make the trek south of The City to my favorite wine shop in the Bay Area, Weimax in Burlingame. The folks there suggested we try a bottle of your Merlot. Like a lot of the wines they recommend, I'd never heard of Summers. As usual, their recommendation was spot on! We paired this wine with a well-seasoned leg of lamb and all our guests were impressed. Having had a good (well, great) experience with your Merlot, we look forward to trying your other wines. I noticed Weimax also has a Cabernet and your Charbono...they're on my shopping list for next month's visit. |
| | StephenT Feb 14, 2009 | 2003 Estate Charbono - In celebration of our 20th Valentines together we opened the last of our 2003 Estate Charbono. WOW! We were floored how well this wine was. Full of complex fruit flavors with smooth tanins and a great finish. It was simply outstanding. We have had 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003 vintages and they are always excellent. The Charbono is a hidden gem. My wife and I always make Summers a stop while wine tasting and we are never disappointed. We usually come home with the Estate Charbono and Cabernet. |

We can not wait to get our new shipments and taste the new releases.We will be visiting the winery this summer to once again experience the wonderful charm/wine this winery offers! |
| | RichB Dec 28, 2008 | 2006 Estate Charbono - My wife and I visited Summers in November. The wine and the people were great. I bought some Chardonnay for my wife and Merlot and Charbono for me. The full bodied dark ink like Charbono is one of my favorites. I'm a fan. We to joined the wine club and look forward getting more of this delicious wine. |

But then, I love all of your wines AND all the people that make up Summers Estates! Summers Estates is my "destination" winery in Napa valley. |
| | MichaelM May 28, 2008 | Dear Beth and Jim - Barbara and I would like to thank you for a wonderful dinner and a marvelous opportunity to taste the various Zinfandel vintages on Saturday night. We loved chatting with you both, meeting and talking with Ignacio and the rest of your friendly staff. The food was simply marvelous, and the wine pairings were perfect. Although the weather didn't cooperate, the seating indoors worked out splendidly. Thanks again for a wonderful affair. |
| | DavidP May 27, 2008 | 2004 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon - Well we sat in the Hot tub here in North Pole and enjoyed a bottle of 04 Cab last night and watched the sun dip down about 11:00pm and it still was not dark. My guess it that it was the farthest north bottle of Summers wine enjoyed thus far this summer. Take Care, David |
| | JimL Feb 25, 2008 | 2006 Estate Charbono - ...not to single out any one wine, but the Charbono was exceptional. After a week in the valley tasting the big and small, we found Summers to be BY FAR the best tasting experience (kudos to Roy) with the best tasting wines across the board (best Chard in 6 days of tasting). Immediately joined the Club so as not to miss out. Highly recommended...head into town, grab a mud bath and a bite to eat, then get thee back to Summers! |
