2008 Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon Rose's well balanced style shows expectional varietal character. The cool fermentation processing of this wine is echoed in the flavor of wild strawberries and tropical fruits. Aromatics show floral notes and a bright crispness. "Bright, cherry red color. The nose is very generous with ripe red cherries with hints of Campari. The palate offers a much more complex fruit mélange with blackberry, cherry, and currants with hints of sour cherry and mineral. Perfectly balanced with a generous portion of fruit with the perfect measure of sweet and tart. A lovely aperitif while it has plenty of gusto to pair with Thai, Indian, or pizza."
